The Mauritius Command by Patrick O'Brian

This is the 5th book of 20 and they've all been enjoyable thus far. Patrick Tull's slow narration of these books meanders with Jack Aubrey's travels and takes us on a wonderful adventure. Even the 405 at rush hour is OK when listening.

The Poet by Michael Connelly

Very good thriller. 600 pages but a fast read.

Biggie and the Poisoned Politician (1996) by Nancy Bell

A funny yarn, light with good dialog.

H. M. S. Surprise by Patrick O'Brian

Patrick O'Brian is consistent, another very fine book (number 3 of 20 or so). Excellent series.

Consent to Kill by Vince Flynn

Flynn writes ridiculous over the top macho he man malarkey – that said, this is a very entertaining thriller.
