This is the first book in the Victor the Assassin Series. There are good bits but it drags and I probably wouldn't read another by this author.

Enjoyable Navy Seal macho shit, really liked it.

The Polaris Protocol by Brad Taylor

A talented author who needs an editor, this guy spends too much time on gory torture scenes and dragging out the ending. Without the fluff this would be a rocking book.

The Stick Game by Peter Bowen

Re-read March 2017 - very enjoyable. The bad news is that this books marks the 1/2 way point through the series, the good news is that they are all solid works.

The Investigators: Badge of Honor by W. E. B. Griffin

Book 7 is another macho episode in this soap opera series and I can't wait for more.

The Stick Game by Peter Bowen

The weakest title in the series but still very enjoyable.

Galveston by Nic Pizzolatto

Very well written, the story jumps around too much and could use some tightening. Would try this author again.

Influx by Daniel Suarez

Moments of greatness, but this novel is not as the Suarez's first two attempts.
