Living with a SEAL by Jesse Itzler
Fun. Billed as "31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet" this book delivers as it chronicles daily surprises of the trainee and trainer. The SEAL turns out to be a very interesting fellow, I'd read a book by him if it existed.
The New Breed: Brotherhood of War by W. E. B. Griffin
Book 7 continues this fun, history based, military soap opera.

Brotherhood of War, Book 6 continues the enjoyable military soap opera.

The Berets by W. E. B. Griffin
Brotherhood of War, Book 5 continues this enjoyable macho soap opera about life in the military.
Reflex by Dick Francis
I didn't know there were any Dick Francis books I hadn't read and what an utter joy it was to find this one!
The Terminal List by Jack Carr
It's a solid story with good action, a modernized Outlaw Josey Wales but there's something about the righteous mean smugness of the main character that grows tiresome. If the author can suppress this, this could grow into a good series.
The Limehouse Text by Will Thomas
Barker & Llewelyn Series, Book 3 is like the previous installments, enjoyable but not great.

The Last Heroes by W. E. B. Griffin
A Men at War Novel, Book 1 in the series was not very interesting. Probably the least interesting Griffin novel I've heard.
Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson
Wanted to like it but it didn't grab my interest.
The Dispatcher by John Scalzi
Listened to a few chapters and wasn't grabbed by it. Not bad just not compelling enough to want to hear more.

Under Fire by W. E. B. Griffin
The Corps Series, Book 9 is another pleasurable journey with endearing characters.
Make Your Bed by William H. McRaven
Little Things That Can Change Your Life...well there's some good messages in this sometimes jumpy story.
The Magnolia Story by Chip Gaines, Joanna Gaines
I was ready to not like this book, but they kept it short and sweet and it's fun to hear such a success story.
Grain Brain by David Perlmutter, Kristin Loberg
The Surprising Truth About Wheat, Carbs, and Sugar - Your Brain's Silent Killers. This book may have a lot of valuable information but it is presented so zealously that it sounds like propaganda drawn from over simplified conclusions.

The Black Book by James Patterson, David Ellis
Characters described one way suddenly act very inconsistently. Too many bad people, described in a way with no redeeming qualities.

Some Danger Involved by Will Thomas
Barker & Llewelyn Series, Book 1 was very enjoyable, looking forward to the next. Could be a new series to follow!

The Authorities by Scott Meyer
Silly, took a long time to get though. It's not that it's bad, it's just not my style and thin on plot.
Gather Round the Sound by Paulo Coelho, Yvonne Morrison, Charles Dickens
OK. Holiday Stories from Beloved Authors and Great Performers Across the Globe.
Crusader One by Brian Andrews, Jeffrey Wilson
OK, don't really remember. Tier One Thrillers, Book 3.
Jacob T. Marley by R. William Bennett
Fun, I enjoyed this look at the other side of a Christmas tale.
