Dark Intercept The Shepherds Series by Brian Andrews, Jeffrey Wilson
These exceptionally talented authors were hired to include Jesus in their story and it was to the detriment of the plot.
Daughter of the Morning Star by Craig Johnson
Longmire Mysteries, Book 17 was pretty good. Narrated by George Guidall which is always good.
Police at the Station and They Don’t Look Friendly by Adrian McKinty
Detective Sean Duffy, Book 6 felt like the end to the series. An enjoyable series with a nice ending. Interesting characters and relationships.

Delta-v by Daniel Suarez
Well written and interesting science but repetitive, just like the Martian but in a different setting. Hard to finish.
In the Morning I'll Be Gone Detective by Adrian McKinty
What a great surprise, really well written and gripping. Sean Duffy, book 3, is my first read for McKinty but I can't wait to read another.

Spilled Blood by Brian Freeman
Not bad but just not my style, probably wouldn't read Freeman again. Joe Barrett, as always was very good.

Dead West by Bronson Pinchot
Book 4 was OK, the change in narrator was unfortunate and took a lot away from the experience. Would definitely listen to book 5 if it should ever come to pass.

Terminal List, book 2 was good macho BS. A little long but good narrator and it sounds good at 2x.
Red Specter by Brian Andrews , Jeffrey Wilson
Tier One Thriller, book 5 was enjoyable. Listened to all 6 in the series, looking forward to number 7. Apparently, they've been contracted to write 7, 8 and 9 - should be good.

Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch
Tried several times, had trouble getting through it. It's a little trippy
Troubled Blood by Robert Galbraith
J. K. Rowling is a beautiful writer. Her fifth Cormoran Strike book is, as always, beautifully written. This novel feels like the author diligently did all the background for each of the many supporting characters and then left it in the book. There are so many side stories that the plot gets lost and in the end doesn't feel very satisfying. Some people like books like that. I'd sure love to see what she could deliver in 6 hours vs. 32.
